2016 MULTIMEDIA WINNERS

Judges Comments:

The judges felt the overall category was weak, with a few strong entries. They felt the long form first place was a good entry but the other long form entries could use better visuals, better sound and better editing (which often appeared rushed). They awarded prizes hoping to encourage greater participation in the category. They said that there are different ways to tell a story and the video is a different skill set, and still photographers moving to the new medium need to apply new ideas in their approach to the new medium. The short form entries were stronger, but many of the same comments applied.
